A Luxurious Micro-Wedding in Las Vegas

HOW THEY MET

Years ago, a family friend setup this cute couple on a blind date. They shared an instant bond and have been inseparable since. Together Olivia and Jeremy are some of the sweetest humans around! They are so genuine and warm. They are the kind of people you feel you have known forever even though you just met. Since that sweet blind date, they moved into their gorgeous mid-modern home with their sweetest fur babies Sage and Basil.  Olivia and Jeremy have so much love and sweetness for one another and their home reflects that.

Olivia and Jeremy live such busy lives that when they finally get a moment to relax, they love to unwind over a glass of wine. They love staying home and cooking together, even though Jeremy does most the cooking. Olivia is more of the cute sous chef that keeps the glasses full and tastes the food to make sure it’s good.

THE PROPOSAL

It was a beautiful and quiet Saturday afternoon in March in Sedona, Arizona. A weekend getaway planned for the two of them to just relax in each other’s company with a little something special planned for Olivia. It was intimate and romantic and just what the two of them always wanted. It was the best kind of day for the best kind of love story.

THE WEDDING

Olivia & Jeremy had been a couple of mine since 2018. Their original wedding date was set for March 21, 2020 at Red Rock Casino, mere days after the Governor of Nevada shut down Las Vegas due to COVID-19. This caused us to come up with a Plan B (and FAST!) After some deliberation, we decided to scale down the wedding to an intimate at-home affair later that year in September with just family and close friends.

Olivia and her mother called me just a few weeks later, sharing that she and Jeremy just wanted to elope and quickly! July 18, 2020 was chosen and everything fell into place for the most beautiful and unique celebration of love in a time when it was needed the most. Despite the smaller guest list, the ceremony space was absolutely breathtaking and just as grand as we had planned. We transformed an empty, blank slate of a warehouse into the most whimsical and breath-taking elopement. The bride and groom’s family found their seats atop upholstered oval-back chairs facing an incredible wall dressed in fresh foliage and blooms by the talented Javier Valentino.  Premiere Wedding Music’s  string duo nestled in amongst the lush set up.

Following the picture-perfect vow exchange, the couple joined their loved ones for an intimate dinner reception in the private dining room of T-Bones Steakhouse. They enjoyed seafood to start, followed by appetizers and salads before the main course. After dinner, slices of the couple’s wedding cake featuring an all-white design with florals cascading down the front were served. To add a personal element, the pair used the wedding cake topper of the bride’s parents that they had saved for 34 years.

Though their celebration was much different than the one they originally planned, Olivia & Jeremy truly made the most out of their special day and encourage other couples to enjoy the process, regardless of the circumstances.

I’m so excited that they can officially say they are MARRIED!
