How to Design Your Thanksgiving Tablescape

There is no denying that fall is a favorite season – after all, who doesn’t love pumpkin spice, cozy sweaters & cooler weather?! With the holiday season around the corner, I wanted to create a tabletop design that would inspire holiday hosts for their thanksgiving tablescapes by incorporating a mixture of things that they already have at home with a few key pieces that will take your design to the next level with creative touches. Whether you are celebrating friendsgiving, a simple fall dinner party or thanksgiving, let this tablecscape inspire you to decorate your tablescape with a little flare! Here are a few tips to create the perfect table for guests to gather around.

1. Don’t be scared to play around with color & texture!
Steering away from the colors we always see on a Thanksgiving table may seem daring but it could really “wow” your guests! We can always trust the boss babes from City Blossoms to completely knocked it out of the park with a vibrant & bold floral centerpiece. The faux leather place cards were the perfect added touch of unique texture.

2. Use serving dishes that are both functional & creative

I added delicious crumb donuts & fun, festive apple cider that complemented the tables aesthetic. Rather than placing them in the kitchen, I added them to the table on a cute little display to really add to the overall look and feel of the table!

3. Have fun with it! Things shouldn’t feel stuffy
A fall table set for entertaining doesn’t need to be overly dressed to be stylish. I’m a strong believer in creating beautiful celebrations that are comfortable, first and foremost.

4. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
If you don’t have time to make dessert, pick something up! You don’t always have to have an elaborate floral centerpiece… pick up loose stems from the grocery store or take the scissors outside and cut a few pieces from your garden! Think about creating a gorgeous statement centerpiece primarily with just-turning leaves, greenery, and subtle fall-hued flowers. You’d be surprised what beautiful ingredients for an arrangement you can find in your own yard or neighborhood.

Cheers to a colorful, warm and inviting table for family to gather around!
