If you are an avid Ashley Creative blog post reader, you will remember Michelle & Sam. Sam is the groom who built his own soon-to-be wife a Las Vegas ranch style home and proposed to her in the rose garden in their very own backyard!
When I first met Michelle & Sam, we met over coffee & brainstormed wedding ideas. After, Michelle insisted on taking me to the ranch where the wedding was going to be held but probably warned me a dozen times, “It will be different on the wedding day, I promise!” Let me tell you, when I arrived on the property I was a little skeptical at first! It was a big giant dirt lot with a fence around it and a smallll tiny house & stables in the distance.
But little did I know, Sam is a home design genius and just 3 short months later, the ranch was in tip top shape with gorgeous planters, a large plot of real grass (yes, REAL… can you believe that Vegas locals?!), and a big pond in the middle complete with a waterfall feature in the center of it.
Their private ranch was the perfect place to hold their special day. Michelle got ready in her very own home while Sam put on his suit jacket near the horse stables. The ceremony overlook the gorgeous new pond that Sam installed weeks before & the reception was under a huge open air tent. It truly took your breath away when you drove up to the property — who knew what could happen in such a short amount of time?!
