French Blue Wedding Inspiration | Hilton Lake Las Vegas

Hilton Lake Las Vegas is a Tuscan inspired Village in the heart of Lake Las Vegas. Its old world charm is influenced by the Tuscan vineyards and gardens, with its towering topiary trees that tower over the breathtaking landscape. The Hilton is the perfect secluded venue for a private wedding that feels almost like a destination for Las Vegas visitors and even locals, which is precisely why Ashley of Ashley Creative Weddings & Events chose the venue as a backdrop for her most elegant inspiration shoot yet.

As the bride & bridesmaids were getting ready, they wore gorgeous lace robes from The Lace Atelier.

When imagining this editorial, Ashley specifically wanted to create something unique which also represents the perfect inspiration for a couple seeking old world Italian charm in a fairytale setting. To bring her ideas to life she chose to collaborate with Elyse Alexandria Photography whose refined, elegant and unique shooting style is representative of the look and feel Ashley was aiming to achieve.

For most elegant brides one of the most important choices they face is deciding on a wedding gown. We wanted to incorporate a unique approach on the wedding dress by integrating a pop of color into the design. Enter- dusty blue! The bridesmaids also wore different shades & textures of blue in their Jenny Yoo NYC dresses from Bella Bridesmaids to really highlight the accent color.

Designing with the dusty blue dress color in mind, we had to keep the other details focusing on textures, rather than color to make sure the contrast was imminent. The lace of the bridal robes down (from The Lace Atelier) to the velvet napkins that were used on the reception tablescapes– all allowed the inspiration to come together in a subtle yet impactful way.

The table setting was formulated by thinking of vintage touches for the dinnerware, intricate design of the dinnerware and adding a touch of color with organic centerpieces made of blush, ivory and shades of golden yellow, beautifully set by Cultivate Goods. Everything was set on a lace table linen from BBJ Linen and countless taper candles which in the light of sunset made this set feel romantic. Ciara Claire created the most amazing and unique invitation suite for us, along with menus, calligraphy place cards & customized favor bags. It was inspiring in its own right with handmade textures creating a beautiful suite to accompany our old world elegance.

We ended the day with a glass of celebratory grapefruit champagne cocktail via a champagne cart provided by Bubbles & Brews Las Vegas on the bridge that is a close replica to the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence. Each guest was gifted with macarons, a French treat, upon their departure.
