The grounds of Green Valley Ranch are something that you don’t see often in the desert of Las Vegas. Where you typically see tons of desert landscaping, the Green Valley Ranch offers big grass fields, vineyards & tall topiary trees surrounding the property. The design direction provided by Ashley Creative Weddings & Events was to stay true to a modern and minimalistic style and to only highlight the grounds that the wedding was held. Together with Layers of Lovely, we were able to create a black and white wedding that would stand the test of time and will remain gorgeous through the ages.
Steph B and Co set the tone for the wedding with an invitation suite that included blind letterpress, vellum envelopes and stunning calligraphy. The ceremony was set amongst a grand outdoor staircase where we placed a large circular arch to surround the couple as they said their “I dos” and guests were seated in clear acrylic chairs. As guests walked towards the big grass lawn where the reception was held, they were serenaded by a string quartet that lined the pathway. Premiere Wedding Music had guests dancing into dinner as they were playing hits like “Marry You” by Bruno Mars.
Friends & family of the bride and groom found their way to their tables, which were surrounded by white cabanas and white fabric draping to bring a little bit of the inside to the outdoors. Black taper candles and black matte flatware were the perfect contrast to a mostly white tabletop. The tables were complete with clear acrylic table numbers, menus & clear acrylic ghost chairs.
Last but not least, the couple repurposed their circular arch at the ceremony to surround their cake table. It became the perfect backdrop to their cake cutting and happened to be one of the most photographed pieces of the night! All of the evenings special events were beautifully captured by J.Anne Photography.
